Following Tai Tzu-ying disappointing loss in the gold medal match, she shared a special moment with India's PV Sindhu.
「我知道妳很難受，妳已經表現的很好，只是今天不是妳的局。」
Her facebook post shared details of an encounter with Sindhu following the medal awards ceremony. "Later, Sindhu ran over to hug me, hold my face, and tell me: 'I know you are upset, but you have already performed very well. Today just wasn't your game," wrote Tai.
Tai said that Sindhu then held her face and said that "I know how you feel." Sindhu had also lost a three-set battle to Spain's Carolina Marín in the gold medal match at the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympics.
Tai said that Sindhu's sincere encouragement (真摯鼓勵) made her burst into tears (爆哭).😭
I honestly teared up when I saw this post.😢 So I wanted to share with you all how these athletics show true friendship and that it's not all about winning, but trying your best. 💪🏾
